実に4年振りとなる新作「Uncharted Journey」を私が主宰するレーベルWaveform Music Labから3月14日に配信開始となります。DJ向け音楽販売サイトBeatport先行で2月28日（日本時間だと3月1日）に配信開始です。
正直な話、今までのリリースは半ば企画ありきで、企画に沿った制作を行っていたので、その枠の中で自分らしい楽曲をリリースしていた訳ですが、本作品は自分が今一番作りたい理想の世界を表現したかったのもあって、シンプルな構成ながらも壮大なSFサスペンス映画タッチのMelodic House/Techno作品を作りました。
元々SF映画が好きで、タイトルも和訳「未知への旅路」とつけてみました。最小限のフレーズで展開しながらもピークタイム前のテンションを作るDJ Toolとしては必要十分な仕上がりになり、House/Tech House/Deep House/Techno/Progressive Houseの橋渡しとしても使えるかな、と自負しております。また、昨今の音楽事情は完全に無視して11分を超える作品でDJ諸氏には是非ロングミックスで使っていただければ、と思っております。
視聴音源の公開はBeatport先行配信となる2月28日を予定しております。それまで楽しみにしていただければ幸いです。
Hello everyone.
My first new release in four years, “Uncharted Journey,” will be released on March 14 via my label, Waveform Music Lab, and will be available first on Beatport, a music sales site for DJs, on February 28 (March 1 in Japan time).
To be honest, my previous releases have been based on a plan, and I’ve been releasing my own music within that framework, but for this one, I wanted to express the ideal world that I want to create the most. I wanted to express the ideal world that I want to create now.
Originally, I liked science fiction movies, so I gave it the title “Uncharted Journey”. I’m proud to say that it can be used as a bridge between House/Tech House/Deep House/Techno/Progressive House. I hope DJs will use it in their long mixes, as it is over 11 minutes long and completely ignores the current music situation.
The soundtrack will be available on Beatport on February 28. We hope you will enjoy it until then.
